I always find fascinating how every piece of popcorn is so different from each other. It is amazing how much texture and dimension there is in each one of them. I selected one of the pieces of popcorn I had and placed it on a white surface. I moved it until I found the position that was the most interesting to me. I also took different shots from different angles. Because the speed was going to be very slow, I knew that I was going to need my tripod and a remote trigger to avoid movement of the camera. I used a continuous light and 2 reflectors to achieve this result.
Please keep in mind that the exposure settings listed above only work for the lighting conditions I had when I took the picture.
