I went for a walk with the kids and I tried to take a picture of these pretty lily flowers. I didn't have a tripod with me at the time. I used a large aperture to be able to shoot with a faster speed to stop the flower from moving with the wind,
Because I was so close to the flower, the aperture I used didn't allowed for getting the detail I wanted. So, I went back another day. This time I was prepared. So I set the camera on my tripod and even though there was some wind, I waited for the right moment and took some shots.
he picture on the right was the first one I took. Even though I liked it a lot, I decided to continue shooting and tried different angles. The picture at the top, which has was taken in an unusual angle, ended up being our favorite.
Please keep in mind that the exposure settings listed above only work for the lighting conditions I had when I took the picture.
